Capacity Building & Advisory Services
- The Institute has been providing resource persons for the Academic Staff Training College of Calicut University.
- The services of Jananeethi Faculty members were regularly availed by institutions like Kerala Police Academy, Kerala Institute of Local Administration, ETC Mannuthi, KSRTC staff training institute, State Social Welfare Department, Institute of Palliative Care, Thrissur etc.
- Advocate P.Sunilkumar, Law Officer of Jananeethi, was guest faculty for MBA students at Amrita University, Amritapuri Campus Kollam. He was also a faculty for the training of Probation Officers at Kerala Institute of Correctional Administration, Viyyoor, Thrissur.
- George Pulikuthiyil, Executive Director of Jananeethi Institute was nominated as NGO representative to the District Panchayat Working Committees on Social Security and Welfare of Scheduled Tribes.
- The Executive Director also represented the NGIL Action Council against the environmental atrocities of the NGIL at the All Party Meeting organized by the Kadukutty Panchayat, and also, in a meeting with Minister for Industries organized by the District Collector at Thrissur Collectorate.
- Advocate Faritha Ansari of Jananeethi was selected on merits by the American Consulate in Chennai as State Guest to visit Washington and New York, and deliberate with like-minded organizations and groups in the US. Ms Faritha was one of the two candidates from India selected for the purpose. The 3 weeks tour was opportunity to Ms Faritha for learning legal services and protection available to women in distress in United States.
- During this period, the Institute engaged young law graduates/under-graduates from various institutions of international repute as interns. They included Mr.David Baines (Nottingham, UK), Ms Camile and Mr.Hugo (Montreal, Canada), Ms Monica Zaghet (Italy), Ms Badhra S.Menon (Christ University, Bangalore), Mr.Balu G.Nair (NUJS, Kolkotha), Ms Suni Rachel Paul and Ms Roshini S. Kumar(CUSAT, Kochi).
